If you are in downtown Palatine, you can walk to Deer Grove West. Start at the Palatine Village Hall on 200 E Wood St. Walk north on N Smith St until you reach E Dundee Rd. From there, head west on W Dundee Rd until you reach the entrance to Deer Grove West. The walk is approximately 2.5 miles and takes about 45-60 minutes.

From the Palatine Train Station (137 W Wood St, Palatine, IL 60067), take Pace Bus Route 696 towards the Northwest Transportation Center. Get off at the stop at Dundee Rd & Old Hicks Rd.
