    From the intersection of Main Street and Washington Street, walk southwest on Washington Street for approximately 2 blocks. The Peoria Riverfront Museum will be on your left. The main entrance to the museum faces Washington Street.

    Approach the museum on I-74 and take Exit 93 for Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and drive one block. Turn left on Main Street, then right on Water Street. The entrance to the museum's parking garage is on Water Street between Main and Liberty. Parking is free in the museum garage with museum admission. Additional covered parking is available in garages on Washington Street. Metered parking is available on Main, Liberty, and Water Streets. Parking at meters is free after 6 PM.

The Zeiss Powerdome Planetarium System projects over 7,000 stars using a patented fiber-optic projection system, creating a star field that closely resembles the real sky. The SCISS Uniview technology uses real-time satellite feeds and digital astronomical data to provide accurate, full-color views of the universe. Visitors can embark on guided trips from our solar system to distant galaxies without leaving Peoria. The Peoria Riverfront Museum itself is a multidisciplinary facility that combines art, history, science, and achievement. It features five large galleries, a giant screen theater, a gift shop, and a snack bar.
