Continue until you reach the exit for US-45 N towards Libertyville. Follow US-45 N for about 6 miles, then take a right onto W Buckley Rd. Continue for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto N St Marys Rd. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will see the entrance to Old School Forest Preserve on your right at 28285 N St Marys Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048. There is no entry fee for the preserve.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus or train station in Prairie State. You can take the Metra train on the North Central Service line towards Antioch. Get off at the Libertyville station. From there, you would need to use a rideshare service or taxi, as public transportation options are limited.
