Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading to the nearest major road in Quad Cities. If you are in Davenport, take I-74 W towards Rock Island. Continue on I-74 W for about 6 miles, then take exit 4B for US-67 N towards Moline. Merge onto US-67 N and continue for approximately 2 miles. Take the exit for IL-92 W and merge onto IL-92 W. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto 46th Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will find the Black Hawk State Historic Site at 1510 46th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201. There is free parking available at the site.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you can take the MetroLINK bus service. Check for the nearest bus stop in your area and take the Route 20 or Route 40, which services various locations in Quad Cities. You will need to transfer to Route 80, which goes towards Rock Island. Get off at the 46th Ave & 16th St stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Black Hawk State Historic Site. Walk south on 16th St and turn right on 46th Ave, and continue until you reach the park entrance. Make sure to check the MetroLINK schedule for any fare costs and bus timings.
