From downtown Evanston, take the CTA Purple Line to the Central Street station. From there, walk east on Central Street for about 1 mile until you reach Sheridan Road. The lighthouse will be on your left, at the intersection of Central and Sheridan. A single ride on the CTA is $2.50.

From Northwestern University's campus, head north along the lakefront path. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the Grosse Point Lighthouse, which is located at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Central Street.
Driving

From downtown Evanston, drive north on Sheridan Road. Continue for approximately 2 miles. The lighthouse will be on your left at the intersection of Central Street and Sheridan Road. Parking is available in the beach parking lot north of the lighthouse, though construction in the summer of 2025 may cause disruptions. Metered street parking is also available, costing $2.00 per hour. Parking in downtown Evanston garages is free on Sundays; otherwise, it costs $6 for up to 5 hours.
