    From downtown Alton, the INHS Great Rivers Field Station is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Head east on W 3rd St toward State St. Turn left onto State St, then turn right onto W Broadway. Continue onto Union St, and the Field Station will be on your right.

    If you're driving from the Great River Road, head to Alton, Illinois. From Great River Road, take the exit toward Alton and follow signs for US-67 N. Continue on US-67 N until you reach the intersection with Union Street. Turn left onto Union Street. The INHS Great Rivers Field Station will be on your right at 918 Union St, Alton, IL 62002. Parking is available nearby, but check for any restrictions.

The INHS Great Rivers Field Station (GRFS) in Alton, Illinois, stands as a crucial center for the study of large river ecosystems.
