If you are driving from downtown Rockford, start by heading south on N Main St toward E State St. Continue on N Main St and take the ramp onto I-90 E. Follow I-90 E for about 5 miles and take exit 1B to merge onto IL-251 N/Perryville Rd. Continue on Perryville Rd for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Mulford Rd. Turn left onto Mulford Rd, and Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve will be on your right at the intersection of Mulford Rd and Perryville Rd. Parking is available on site.
