If you are traveling by car from Rock River Valley, start by getting on IL-2 S (Northwest Highway) toward Rockford. Continue on IL-2 S until you reach I-39 S. Merge onto I-39 S and follow signs for Bloomington. Take exit 3A to merge onto I-55 S toward St. Louis. Continue on I-55 S and take exit 40A to merge onto I-64 W toward East St. Louis. After about 30 miles, take exit 34A for IL-145 S toward Metropolis. Follow IL-145 S for approximately 18 miles until you reach Cave-In-Rock State Park, located at 1 New State Park Rd, Cave-In-Rock, IL 62919.
