From the Cherry Valley Public Library, head west on E Cherry St toward S Main St. Turn left onto S Walnut St. Continue straight; Baumann Park will be on your left. The walk is approximately 0.3 miles and should take about 5-7 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
The RMTD Route 19 bus connects Cherry Valley to Rockford and other destinations. From the Cherryvale Mall, take the RMTD Route 19. Get off at a stop near the intersection of IL-230 and S Walnut St, which is closest to Baumann Park. From there, walk north on S Walnut St for about 0.2 miles to reach the park. A single ride on RMTD costs $2.
Driving
From I-90, take the US-20 BUS exit toward Cherry Valley. Follow US-20 BUS/W State St into Cherry Valley. Turn left onto S Walnut St. The park will be on your right. Parking is available within Baumann Park at 300 S Walnut Street. Parking is free.
