Castle Rock Overlook, situated in Castle Rock State Park near Oregon, Illinois, is a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts and sightseers. The river was known as "Sinnissippi," meaning "rocky waters". In the early 19th century, Chief Blackhawk led raids to reclaim ancestral lands.
