Getting There

• Public Transportation

  If you are starting from downtown Rockford, head to the Rockford Mass Transit District bus stop at the corner of N Main St and W State St. Take Bus Route 3 (East State) towards East State & Mulford. Remain on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at S Main St & S 27th St. From there, walk south on S Main St for approximately 0.5 miles until you arrive at Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden, located at 2715 S Main St. The entrance will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you are near the Riverwalk area, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Klehm Arboretum. Start at the Riverwalk Trailhead and head south. Follow the trail along the river until you reach E State St. Cross over to S Main St and continue south for about 1.5 miles. Keep an eye out for the Klehm Arboretum entrance on your left at 2715 S Main St.

• Biking

  For those who prefer to bike, start at the bike path along the Rock River. Head south on the bike path until you reach the intersection with E State St. Turn left on E State St, then right onto S Main St. Continue biking south for about 1.5 miles until you reach Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden at 2715 S Main St. There is bike parking available at the entrance.
