A new exhibit opening in early 2025 will focus on Camp Grant, a military camp that played a significant role in World War I and World War II.The Victorian Village transports visitors to a rural Northern Illinois town between 1890 and 1910. This outdoor exhibit features 26 historic structures, including homes, businesses, and community buildings, all furnished with artifacts from the era. Costumed interpreters guide tours and provide demonstrations, offering insights into daily life during the Victorian era. Visitors can explore a general store, hardware store, schoolhouse, church, and several other buildings, each telling a unique story of the region's past.
