If you are starting from the Illinois State Capitol building, exit the Capitol grounds and head north on 2nd Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with North Jefferson Street. Turn right onto North Jefferson Street and walk east until you reach North 4th Street. Turn left onto North 4th Street and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Springfield Art Association/Edwards Place Historic Home will be on your right at 700 N 4th St.
