The mansion is located between 4th and 5th Streets and Jackson and Edwards Streets. The entrance is on the north side of the Mansion between 4th and 5th Streets.

Metered parking spaces are available on Fourth and Fifth Streets near the Mansion, which are currently free. The Dana-Thomas House parking lot, located at the intersection of Fourth Street and Lawrence Street, is also available for free and is about a five-minute walk to the Mansion. The Plaza Parking Garage is located near the Bank of Springfield Center on the west side. The garage has entrances on 7th Street and Washington Street. The minimum charge is $1.00 per hour, with a maximum charge of $7.00 per day.
