Dickson Mounds State Museum is located in a rural area of west-central Illinois, approximately five miles from both Lewistown and Havana. From either town, follow Illinois Routes 78 and 97 to the museum entrance. The museum offers free parking in multiple lots. After museum hours, parking is available at the Eveland Village or Picnic Hill parking lots. Note that the museum parking lot closes at 4 PM.
