Stay on the bus for approximately 20-25 minutes. Get off at the stop for Illinois Beach State Park, which is near the intersection of 21st St. and Lake Front Dr. Walk to the park entrance, which is just a short distance from the bus stop.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Waukegan. Start by heading east on Grand Ave until you reach Sheridan Rd. Turn left on Sheridan Rd and continue north.
