The modern infrastructure includes a passenger terminal, cargo building, warehouse, inspection shed, and parking area. This infrastructure supports the efficient processing of customs, immigration, and security procedures.As the second busiest land port between India and Bangladesh, after Petrapole-Benapole, Agartala ICP plays a significant role in regional trade. In the fiscal year 2023-24, the port facilitated trade worth ₹318 crore. The primary imports include items like crushed stone and cement, while exports consist of bamboo, dry fish, and dry chili.For tourists, a visit to the ICP offers a unique perspective on cross-border logistics and the cultural dynamics of the region.
