Solomon's Temple, located in Aizawl, Mizoram, is a remarkable religious and architectural landmark. Built by the Kohhran Thianghlim, also known as 'The Holy Church', the temple's construction was inspired by a divine revelation to Dr. L.B. Sailo, the church's founder, in 1991. He envisioned a structure resembling the biblical Solomon's Temple, leading to an ambitious project that began in 1996 and was completed in 2017.The temple is one of the largest in Mizoram and can accommodate thousands of people. The main hall can hold approximately 3,000 people, with space for an additional 10,000 in its courtyard. The temple has four towers, each topped with a crown symbolizing Salvation, Righteousness, Life, and Overcoming. The architecture blends modern design with traditional Mizo construction practices. The temple's walls face precisely North, South, East, and West.The temple complex includes a natural park with various forest trees providing shade and fruits for local wildlife. The temple has become a significant tourist attraction, drawing visitors with its spiritual significance and architectural beauty. The serene atmosphere and panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys enhance the visitor experience.
