The SWTD boat jetty, opposite the KSRTC bus stand, offers regular boat services to towns like Kottayam and Kollam. A ferry ride to Kottayam costs around ₹18 and takes 2.5 to 3 hours. A trip from Alleppey to Kollam will cost about ₹300.
