I visited Amritsar from Australia this year in January 2026 with my family to spend my holidays. I booked Army Tour Cabs & Travel, and I must say that it was a great experience without any hassle. We visited both Gobindgarh Fort and Sada Pind, and if you’re short on time, we’d recommend skipping the fort and heading straight to Sada Pind. Sada Pind is beautifully designed to replicate a traditional Punjabi village. Every artisan’s home has been thoughtfully recreated to offer an authentic cultural experience. From the architecture to the food, and the interactive experiences, everything is immersive and well-executed. The staff at Sada Pind also played a big role in making the visit memorable—they were dressed traditionally and truly brought the place to life. We had a great time exploring each home and learning about the different aspects of Punjabi village life. Highly recommended for families and anyone interested in Punjab’s rich cultural heritage.

Our trip to Amritsar was truly unforgettable! Being a couple in our mid-70s traveling with our granddaughter, we were initially a bit worried about safety and comfort. But from the moment we met our guide, Deepak, all our concerns disappeared. He made sure we had the most enjoyable and stress-free experience, taking care of all our needs with such warmth and attention. Deepak's way of explaining the history and culture of Amritsar, especially the Golden Temple and Sikhism, was simply amazing. His stories made everything come alive, and we learned so much. What made this tour even more special was how he considered our different age groups and ensured we were always comfortable. After the thrilling Wagah Border ceremony, he took us to some hidden gems of Amritsar that most tourists don’t get to see – and those moments were just magical!
