To reach Rock Island, take a ferry from Port Blair. Ferries depart from Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex (Aberdeen Jetty) or Junglighat Jetty. A round trip to Ross Island and North Bay Island costs approximately ₹870 for adults. Ensure you arrive at the jetty with a valid ID card and pre-booked ticket. The ferry ride takes about 15-20 minutes.
Taxi
From Port Blair Airport (IXZ), hire a taxi to Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex (Aberdeen Jetty) or Junglighat Jetty. Taxi fares range from ₹150-₹300 depending on your hotel location. From the jetty, board a ferry to Rock Island.
Public Transport
From Port Blair, take a local bus towards the city center and ask for the nearest stop to Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex (Aberdeen Jetty) or Junglighat Jetty. Bus fares are economical, around ₹10-₹30. From the jetty, take a ferry to Rock Island.
