If you're driving from Visakhapatnam, take NH16 towards Vizianagaram. After about 90 km, take the exit onto NH26 towards Borra Caves. The road is well-marked, and you'll find signs guiding you to the caves as you approach. There is a parking area available near the entrance. Please note that the roads can be narrow and winding, especially as you get closer, so drive carefully.

Take a train from major cities like Hyderabad or Chennai to the nearest railway station, which is Kottavalasa. From Kottavalasa, you can hire a taxi or use a local auto-rickshaw to reach Borra Caves, which is about 30 km away. Expect to pay around ₹600-₹800 for the taxi ride. You can catch a bus from major cities in Andhra Pradesh, such as Visakhapatnam or Vijayawada, to Araku Valley. From Araku Valley, frequent local buses or shared auto-rickshaws run to Borra Caves. The bus fare from Visakhapatnam to Araku is approximately ₹200. Ensure to check the local bus timings, as they may vary throughout the day.
