Getting There

    From Kaziranga National Park, head towards the Kohora area and take the National Highway 37 (NH37) heading east. Continue on NH37 for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the town of Numaligarh. From Numaligarh, take a left turn onto Lower Tarapung Road. Follow this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the village of Lower Tarapung. The Tara Aji Waterfalls are located nearby at the coordinates FG92+RJQ. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rural roads, as the last stretch may have uneven terrain.

  • Public Transportation

    Start your journey at the Kaziranga National Park entrance. You can take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Numaligarh. This trip will cost around INR 50-100 depending on the vehicle and distance. Once you arrive in Numaligarh, you will need to hire a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to Lower Tarapung.
