Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
If you are starting from the Cidco Bus Stand, head south on Cidco Road towards the intersection with Collector Office Road. Once you reach the intersection, take a left onto Collector Office Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach Delhi Gate, which is located near the Sub Divisional Engineer Office.
Auto-Rickshaw
From anywhere in Cidco, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to Delhi Gate. Simply tell the driver 'Delhi Gate near Sub Divisional Engineer Office' and they will take you there. The fare should be around ₹30 to ₹50 depending on your starting point. Always ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand if the rickshaw does not have a meter.
Cycle Rickshaw
If you prefer a more local experience, you can opt for a cycle rickshaw. Similar to an auto-rickshaw, inform the driver that you want to go to Delhi Gate. It may take a bit longer but could cost slightly less, around ₹20 to ₹40.
Local Bus
You can also take a local bus from Cidco to Aalamgir Colony. Look for buses heading towards Himayat Bagh. After getting off at the nearest bus stop, walk towards Collector Office Road. Delhi Gate is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is typically around ₹10.
Use Delhi Gate as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
