4.6

Located in the heart of Bengaluru, the HAL Tejas Model Display offers a fascinating glimpse into India's aviation industry, with a special focus on the indigenously designed HAL Tejas fighter aircraft. This display features an impressive collection of scale models that highlight the intricate design and engineering of this multirole combat aircraft. The HAL Tejas, meaning 'Radiant,' is a single-engine, 4.5 generation, delta-wing, multirole combat aircraft designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force (IAF) and Indian Navy. The Tejas made its first flight in 2001 and entered service with the IAF in 2015. It is the second jet-powered combat aircraft developed by HAL, after the HF-24 Marut. The model display provides an educational experience for visitors of all ages, especially children, who can marvel at the sophisticated models and interactive exhibits that bring the world of aviation to life. The HAL Tejas Model Display is located opposite the HAL Corporate Office at the Minsk Square. Minsk Square is named so because of the town twinning concept which makes Bangalore and Minsk sister cities.
