The Tejas made its first flight in 2001 and entered service with the IAF in 2015. It is the second jet-powered combat aircraft developed by HAL, after the HF-24 Marut. The model display provides an educational experience for visitors of all ages, especially children, who can marvel at the sophisticated models and interactive exhibits that bring the world of aviation to life. The HAL Tejas Model Display is located opposite the HAL Corporate Office at the Minsk Square.
