From Bangalore, take the Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway (NH 44) and exit towards Nandi Hills. Follow the signs to the base of the hill and then the winding road to the top. Park in designated areas near Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. Parking fees for four-wheelers are INR 60 and for two-wheelers are INR 15.

Take a bus from Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic) or KR Market in Bangalore to Nandi Hills. The journey takes 2-3 hours. From the Nandi Hills bus stand, hire an auto-rickshaw or walk to Tipu's Drop.
