The total drive from Jabalpur to Kanha is approximately 160 km and will take about 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Bus

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Jabalpur to Mandla, which is a frequent route. The journey takes around 2 hours. Buses leave from Jabalpur Bus Stand, and you can purchase your ticket on the spot. After reaching Mandla, you need to hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to Kanha Tiger Reserve. The taxi ride from Mandla to Kanha is about 60 km and usually costs around INR 1500-2000. Ensure that you confirm the fare before starting the journey.

Train

If you prefer traveling by train, the nearest major railway station is Jabalpur. You can book a train ticket to Jabalpur from your location in Central India. Upon arrival at Jabalpur station, you can either take a bus to Mandla or hire a taxi directly to Kanha Tiger Reserve.
