Walking
If you are in the heart of Adyar, you can simply walk to the Arulmigu Marundeeswarar Temple. Start from the Adyar Bus Terminus. Head north on Sardar Patel Road toward 1st Avenue. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with 1st Avenue. Take a left onto 1st Avenue and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see a roundabout; take the exit that leads you towards W Tank Street. Continue on W Tank Street for about 500 meters, and the temple will be on your right at 8, W Tank St, Ambedkar Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur. The entire walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
Bus
From anywhere in Adyar, you can take a local bus to reach the Arulmigu Marundeeswarar Temple. Look for buses heading towards Thiruvanmiyur or any local bus that services W Tank Street. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at W Tank Street. The bus fare is typically around ₹10-₹20 depending on the distance.
