Walking

Public Transport
From Chopta, take a shared taxi or local bus to Rudraprayag. These typically operate from early morning until early afternoon. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Upon arrival in Rudraprayag, hire a local taxi to the viewpoint at 7XRP+3WM. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which may range from ₹200 to ₹500, depending on your negotiation skills.
Car
From Chopta, drive south on the main road towards Rudraprayag for approximately 35 kilometers. The route passes through Ukhimath and the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary. The road is generally well-maintained but can be narrow in some sections. Follow signs directing you towards Rudraprayag and the viewpoint at 7XRP+3WM. Parking near the viewpoint may be limited.
