Gedee Car Museum, located on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is a captivating destination for automobile enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Founded by G.D. Naidu, an eminent industrialist and philanthropist, the museum opened its doors on April 27, 2015, to display an exquisite and diverse collection of classic and rare automobiles from Britain, Japan, France, Germany, and America. The museum's primary objective is to educate students and the general public about the technology, design, engineering, and workmanship behind these innovations. The museum boasts over 100 vintage cars, each with a unique history or technology. Highlights include the Benz Motorwagen, considered the world's first three-wheeled automobile, and the Hispano Suiza H6B, once owned by the Maharaja of Mysore. Other notable models include the Morris Cowley, Austin 7, BMW Isetta 250, and Cadillac Limousine. The museum also features a section dedicated to Indian automobiles, including a prototype of a low car designed by G.D. Naidu himself. Visitors can also view replicas of great engines and motivational quotes on the walls. The Gedee Car Museum is a proud member of FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) and FHVI (Federation of Historic Vehicles India), organizations dedicated to preserving and promoting historic vehicles.
