Sri Masaniamman Temple: A Sanctuary of Justice and Healing

Sri Masaniamman Temple, located in the serene landscapes of Anaimalai near Pollachi in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Masani Amman. This ancient temple, also known as Arulmigu Masani Amman Temple, stands as a beacon of faith and spirituality, attracting devotees seeking justice, healing, and blessings. The most striking feature of the temple is the 15-foot-long reclining idol of Goddess Masani Amman. The deity is depicted in a unique sleeping posture, with her head facing south and holding a skull, serpent, trident, and Udukkai in her four hands. This unusual form of Amman is considered highly powerful and is believed to grant the wishes of devotees who approach her with unwavering faith.
