It was developed by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) to promote the concept of “waste to wonder,” demonstrating how discarded materials can be creatively and sustainably repurposed. The park features meticulously crafted replicas of iconic structures such as the Qutub Minar, Taj Mahal, Gateway of India, Charminar, Konark Sun Temple, and Mysore Palace. These replicas are constructed from approximately 350 tons of scrap materials, including discarded electrical equipment, cycle parts, nuts, bolts, angles, and iron rods. This innovative approach highlights the importance of recycling and environmental conservation. Visitors can enjoy a 1.5 km walking trail, a children's play area, sculpted waterfalls, ponds, fountains, and an amphitheater for cultural events. The park is powered by solar panels and incorporates a sewage treatment system, ensuring an environmentally friendly atmosphere.
