If you are near Connaught Place, head to the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station. Take the Yellow Line towards HUDA City Centre. Get off at the Kalkaji Mandir Metro Station. Exit the station and head east on G Block Road. Turn left onto Lotus Temple Road. The Lotus Temple will be on your right after a short walk of about 10 minutes.
Auto Rickshaw
From anywhere in central Delhi, you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Just tell the driver 'Lotus Temple, Kalkaji.' The driver will take you directly to the temple. Depending on traffic, the ride should take about 30-45 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare or ask the driver to turn on the meter.
Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading towards Kalkaji. Look for buses numbered 405 or 520, which have stops near the Lotus Temple. Once you get off at the Kalkaji Bus Stop, walk towards Lotus Temple Road, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are staying in nearby areas like Nehru Place or Greater Kailash, you can walk to the Lotus Temple. From Nehru Place, head west towards Nehru Place Metro Station. Continue straight to the main road, cross over towards Lotus Temple Road, and follow the signs. It should take about 20-30 minutes on foot.
