Car

If you are traveling by car, make your way to the town of Araku Valley, which is approximately 35 km from Borra Caves. From Araku Valley, take the NH16 road towards Vishakhapatnam. After about 10 km, you will see signs for Borra Caves. Turn left and follow the winding road for another 5 km until you reach the entrance of the caves. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited refueling options along the route.

Public Transportation

To reach Borra Caves via public transportation, first take a train or bus to the town of Visakhapatnam (often referred to as Vizag). From Vizag, you can catch a bus to Araku Valley. These buses run regularly and take about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at Araku Valley, you can either hire a taxi or take a local bus to Borra Caves, which is about 35 km away. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around INR 500-700 for the short trip.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct method, you can hire a taxi from Visakhapatnam to Borra Caves. This will give you the flexibility to stop along the way. The distance is approximately 90 km and the journey will take around 2-3 hours depending on traffic.
