Car
If you are driving from the capital city of Goa, Panaji, head southeast on NH66. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for Pomburpa. Take the left turn onto the Pomburpa-Mapusa Road and follow it for about 8 km. Then, take a right turn towards the town of Harvale and follow the signs to Arvalem Caves, which is approximately 5 km from the town center. Parking is available near the caves.
Public Transportation
From Panaji, take a local bus to Mapusa, which costs around ₹30. Once you reach Mapusa, transfer to a bus heading towards Bicholim. These buses run frequently and the fare is approximately ₹20. Upon reaching Bicholim, you can hire an auto-rickshaw or a taxi to take you to Arvalem Caves, which is about 10 km away. Expect to pay around ₹150-₹200 for the auto-rickshaw ride.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider booking a taxi from Panaji or your current location. The fare from Panaji to Arvalem Caves typically costs between ₹800-₹1000, depending on negotiation and time of day. This option is convenient as the driver will take you directly to the entrance of the caves.
