If you are driving, you can reach Hazarduari Palace & Museum in Murshidabad by taking National Highway 12 (NH12) or National Highway 34 (NH34) depending on your starting location. From Kolkata, take the NH12 towards Berhampore. The palace is located on Siraj Ud Daulah Road in Hazarduari, Murshidabad. There are ample parking spaces available near the museum.
Train
For those using public transportation, take a train from Kolkata to Murshidabad. Trains such as the Howrah-Bardhaman Passenger or the Sealdah-Murshidabad Express run frequently. Upon arriving at the Murshidabad Railway Station, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach Hazarduari Palace & Museum, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. The fare for an auto-rickshaw is usually around INR 50-100.
Bus
There are also state-run and private buses that operate between Kolkata and Murshidabad. You can board a bus from the Esplanade area in Kolkata. Once you reach the Murshidabad bus stand, you can take a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to Hazarduari Palace.
