    Getting There

    Walking

    Start from the MG Marg, the main street in Gangtok. Walk towards the upper direction of the street until you reach the Sikkim Tourism Office. From there, look for the road sign to Hanuman Tok, which will guide you to the Shanti View Point. Continue walking straight along that road, passing by the few local shops and eateries. The road will gradually ascend, and you will find it becoming more scenic with views of the hills. After approximately 30-40 minutes of uphill walking, you will reach a fork. Take the left path leading towards Hanuman Tok. Follow the path, and you will eventually see the temple and its beautiful views. The total walking distance is around 2.5 kilometers from MG Marg.

    Public Transport (Shared Taxi)

    From MG Marg, walk to the nearest shared taxi stand located just off the main street. Look for taxis going towards 'Hanuman Tok' or 'Tashi View Point'. The fare is generally very affordable, around 30-50 INR. Once you get on the taxi, it will take you through the winding roads of Gangtok. Inform the driver that you want to go to Hanuman Tok. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the entrance of Hanuman Tok. Make sure to check the timings of shared taxis, as they may not run late in the evening.
