Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the MG Marg area in Gangtok, which is a central location. Walk towards the Tibet Road, moving towards the direction of the Gangtok Police Headquarters. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads to the View Point Road. Continue straight on View Point Road for approximately 20-30 minutes. The road will gradually incline, and you will notice signboards directing you to Namnang View Point. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views around. Finally, you will reach the viewpoint which is on your left side.

Trekking
For a more adventurous route, head to the base of the hill from the MG Marg area. Look for the trailhead that leads upwards towards the Namnang View Point. This trek will take you through some local neighborhoods and will involve climbing steps and navigating through narrow paths. The trek may take around 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
