The beach is well-marked and you will see the ocean as you approach.

• Auto Rickshaw

  For a quicker route, you can hire an auto rickshaw. Auto rickshaws are abundant in Calangute and are a convenient way to get around. To catch one, simply look for a stand or flag one down on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Calangute Beach; most drivers will know the location. The fare will typically range from ₹30 to ₹100 depending on your starting point, and the ride should take around 5-10 minutes.

• Bicycle Rental

  Another enjoyable option is to rent a bicycle, which many shops in Calangute offer. You can rent a bicycle for around ₹100 to ₹200 per hour. Once you have your bike, navigate towards Calangute Beach Road. It’s a straight route, and cycling there can be a pleasant experience, taking about 10-15 minutes.

• Public Bus

  If you're near the bus stop, you can also take a local bus heading towards Mapusa or Anjuna, which should drop you off near Calangute Beach. The fare is extremely affordable, usually around ₹10 to ₹20. Make sure to ask the conductor to inform you when to get off, as bus schedules can vary. The bus ride will take approximately 10-20 minutes depending on traffic.
