If you're driving from Gokarna, head out on the NH66 road towards Kumta. After approximately 4 km, look for a sign indicating Sanikatta. Turn left onto the road leading to Sanikatta. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will reach the Sun Rise view point located at coordinates 14.544188, 74.345938. There is usually ample parking available near the viewpoint. Parking is free.
Public Transport
From Kumta, you can take a local bus towards Sanikatta. The bus will drop you at Sanikatta bus stop, from there you can hire an auto-rickshaw to the Sun Rise view point. The auto-rickshaw will cost around ₹50-₹100. The bus fare from Kumta to Sanikatta is approximately ₹30 [Indian Rupees].
