From the main Gulmarg market area, head towards the Gulmarg Gondola station, which is clearly marked and is about a 15-minute walk from the market. The Gondola operates daily and is the primary means to reach the higher slopes of Apharwat. Tickets can be purchased on-site, and the cost is approximately INR 700 for the first phase to Kungdoor and INR 900 for the second phase to Apharwat. Be sure to check the operating hours, as the Gondola runs from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
