The distance from the Gulmarg market area to the Gondola base is about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the base station, you will find parking available nearby. Note that there might be a parking fee, so keep some cash handy.

If you are already in the Gulmarg market area, you can walk to the Gondola base station. Head towards the direction of the Gondola signs, which will guide you along the pathway. It should take approximately 20-30 minutes to walk, depending on your pace. Be prepared for some uphill walking as you approach the Gondola station.

Once at the Gondola base station, you will need to purchase a ticket for the Gondola ride to Kongdoori Phase 1. The ticket prices vary, so check the current rates at the ticket counter. The Gondola operates from 9 AM to 5 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. After purchasing your ticket, board the Gondola, which will take you directly to Kongdoori Phase 1. Enjoy the stunning views during the ride, which lasts about 10 minutes.
