Getting There

Head north on Panjabari Road, and you will see the entrance to the Kalakshetra on your right.

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take an auto-rickshaw from any central location in Guwahati, such as Paltan Bazar or Fancy Bazar. Tell the driver to take you to 'Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra' or provide the address: Panjabari Rd, Batahguli, Guwahati, Assam 781037. The fare will vary depending on your starting point but should range between 100 to 200 INR. The ride should take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

The cycle rickshaw will take you through local streets, and the ride will take about 30-40 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the surroundings. Request the driver to drop you off at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in Batahguli or have arrived at the Batahguli bus stop, you can walk to Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra. From the bus stop, head north on Panjabari Road. Follow the road straight, and you will find the Kalakshetra on your right after approximately a 10-minute walk. This is a great way to enjoy the local scenery and atmosphere.
