    From Guwahati, drive south towards Basistha Chariali or Lokhra Chariali. The eastern part of Garbhanga Forest is accessible via Basistha Mandir Road from Basistha Chariali, about 20 km away. The western side can be reached via Lokhra-Garbhanga Road from Lokhra Chariali, approximately 25 km away. Note that the last few kilometers may be on dirt roads. Parking is available, but it may be limited, especially during peak season. There is no entry fee.

    While there is no direct public transport to Garbhanga Forest, you can take a bus or shared electric car to Basistha Chariali.
