Prasenjit took us on a walking tour through old Guwahati. It was a wonderful morning. He let us experience unique places of worship and daytoday life which we would have never discovered otherwise. We enjoyed the diversity between religious and historical places and every-day scenes including the fish-market. Prasenjit was able to tune into our interest and answered a lot of our curious questions about local culture, religion etc. He simplified complex concepts and deepened our understanding. He calmly guided us through traffic and led the walk in a good pace. It was a peaceful and harmonious experience which left us with great enthusiasm and appreciation. We are so happy that we had Prasenjit as our guide. The tour was a highlight in our trip.

Our visit to the Ammchong Tea Estate was a truly delightful and educational experience. Arnub, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He began by taking us around the manufacturing factory, where we learned about the intricate process of tea production—from plucking the leaves to the final packaging. The tour then moved to the lush tea estate itself, where Arnub explained the different types of tea plants, harvesting techniques, and the estate's history. His detailed and engaging explanations made the experience both informative and enjoyable. The highlight of the tour was the tea-tasting session. We sampled a variety of teas, each with distinct flavors and aromas. It was fascinating to learn how the processing techniques influence the taste of the final brew. Overall, the Ammchong Tea Estate tour is a must-visit for tea lovers and anyone curious about the journey from leaf to cup. Excellent hospitality, insightful information, and a fantastic tea-tasting experience made it truly memorable.

Ma Khamakhya walking Tour

We were visiting Ma Kamakhya Temple in Gauhati for her blessings. As an extension of the same, we took guided heritage walking tour with Mr. Prasenjit who runs a company by the name of Six Degree Adventures. He is mild mannered, patient, eloquent in English and very knowledgeable with the history of the Shaktipeeth. He took us to have darshan of Bogolamukhi, Chinnamasta, Kali, Tara, Dhumavati, Matangi, Kamala Devi, and Tripura Sundari and explained the significance of each. He also got us in sync with what we should be gearing up for as we prepare for Maa Kamakhiya’s Darshan which was scheduled on the following day.
