If you are in the city center of Gwalior, start by heading towards the bus station (Gwalior Bus Stand). From the bus station, walk straight towards the main road (Mahatma Gandhi Road). Continue walking on this road for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Lalitpur Road. Turn right onto Lalitpur Road and continue for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass local shops and eateries along the way. As you reach the Lalitpur Colony area, look for Theme Road on your left. Katora Tal is located a short distance down Theme Road.

From any point in Gwalior, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to Katora Tal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Katora Tal, located at 55V7+WQW, Theme Road, Lalitpur Colony. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have the exact address ready to show the driver.
Public Transport (Bus)
You can take a local bus that heads towards Lalitpur Colony. Board the bus at any major bus stop in Gwalior. Confirm with the conductor that the bus stops at Lalitpur Colony. Once you reach Lalitpur Colony, ask locals for directions to Katora Tal, which is located on Theme Road. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the lake.
