Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main area of Hampi and head towards the direction of the Virupaksha Temple. From there, take the road leading towards Hampi Bazaar. Continue straight until you reach the junction near the Hampi Post Office, where you will take a left turn onto the road leading to the Anegundi direction. Follow the road until you see the sign for Mathanga Hill. You can park your car at the base of the hill.
Public Transportation (Auto-rickshaw)
From anywhere in Hampi, you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Tell the driver you want to go to Mathanga Hill. The fare should be around ₹100-₹200 depending on your starting point. The driver will take you to the base of the hill. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
