Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Manali, take the NH3 towards Kullu. Continue on this road for about 40 km until you reach Kullu. From Kullu, take the NH305 to reach the village of Kasol (about 30 km). Once in Kasol, follow the signs towards KheerGanga, which will lead you to the base of the trek. You can park your car in Kasol and start your trek from there. Note that the final stretch to KheerGanga Waterfall is a trekking route, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Expect to pay for parking in Kasol, usually around ₹50-₹100 per day.

  • Public Transportation

    From Manali, you can take a bus to Kullu. Buses frequently run throughout the day, and the fare is approximately ₹100-₹150. Once in Kullu, transfer to a bus or shared taxi to Kasol (about ₹50). In Kasol, you can hire a local taxi to take you to the start of the trek towards KheerGanga. Alternatively, you can also choose to walk from Kasol to the trek point. Note that the trek to KheerGanga will take around 4-5 hours, depending on your fitness level and pace.

  • Trekking

    Once you reach the base of the trek from Kasol, follow the well-marked path towards KheerGanga Waterfall. The trek is about 12 km and can take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours to complete.
