The distance from Bhuntar Airport to Barshaini is approximately 35.7 km, a drive of about 1 hour and 43 minutes. Taxis from Bhuntar to Barshaini may cost around INR 1500-2000. From Barshaini, begin the 12-13 km trek to Khirganga. Bus fare from Delhi to Kullu can range from INR 800 to INR 1500. Taxi fare from Kullu to Barshaini is approximately INR 1200-1800.

    The final approach to Khirganga is a 12-13 km trek from Barshaini. There are a few different routes to reach Kheerganga: Nakthan Village and Kalga Village. The trek takes approximately 4-6 hours, depending on your pace and the route you choose. The trail is well-marked, and you'll find several cafes along the way. There is no entry fee for Khirganga National Park. Camping is available at the top of Kheerganga, with costs varying.
