    Walking

    The final approach to Naina Peak is primarily on foot via a 6 km trek from Mallital. From Mallital, near Mall Road, follow the road leading towards the Kilbury Road. Continue on this road until you reach a point where the motorable road ends. From there, the trekking path begins. The trek takes approximately 1-2 hours. Entry fee to the peak is ₹50.

    Taxi

    You can hire a taxi from Nainital to a point closer to Naina Peak to reduce the walking distance. Hire a taxi from Mall Road or a taxi stand to 'Taanki Band' or the Forest Check Post. The trek to Naina Peak starts near a tea shop from this point, reducing the trek to approximately 2.5 km. Taxi fares in Nainital start from approximately ₹2500 for a day package. A one-way taxi from Nainital to Naina Range (closer to the peak) starts from ₹1752. After reaching the drop-off point, there is still a 2.5 km trek to the peak with an entry fee of ₹50.
